Myriad was initially engaged to undertake a spatial analysis for the practice to either relocate to new premises or to expand at their existing site. Subsequently the decision was taken to give the current tenancy a new “lease of life”. With some judicious re-planning the core areas of reception and meeting rooms have been reconfigured to create a markedly new impression when the visitor arrives. By opening the reception directly to the lift and employing glazed panels, natural light now floods the greatly enlarged reception. The use of a contemporary palette of polished timber, glass, soft greens and mid brown carpet tones establishes a fresh new professional persona for one of North Queensland’s leading law firms.
