project name: Juanda Airport

location: Surabaya Juanda Airport, Indonesia

size: 400sqm

This tender submission for HMS Host took Myriad’s services into Indonesia. Through a joint venture arrangement, HMS Host submitted a tender to build and operate the full suite of food and beverage facilities in the development of the Surabaya International Airport in Java.

The proposal required the development of a unique food village offer combining 6 individual ‘Hawker Style’ F&B counters around communal dining; a translation of the Two Tigers brand developed by Myriad offering a Noodle/Sushi counter and Hainan Chicken counter; plans and design concepts for 2 Bread! outlets; 3 Costa Coffee outlets; 2 Popeye’s Chicken; and a Burger King.

A complete 30 page tender submission was provided to accompany the clients financial offer. The preparation of the entire submission required a team of 5 designers, but was delivered in under 2 weeks from the initial inquiry – a challenge we love at Myriad.

A Parisian outlet was another tender submission to include the growing Two Tigers F&B outlet. Sadly, the tender bid for the proposed concept outlet in the redevelopment of the Charles De Gaulle airport was unsuccessful – c’est la vie.
