Continuing the program of upgrade for the hotel, the pool and poolside facilities received a full refurbishment. The poolside and swim-up bar were doubled in size to increase seating and improve the service capabilities. The works included enlarging the pool shell and a new keg room for draft beer with storage. The pool shell received a reline to renew for another 20 years of operation. A full re-fit of the bar was driven by functionality, balanced with an ambience befitting the casual poolside flavour enjoyed by the guests. Guest dwell times and the increase in sales demonstrate the popularity of the upgraded facility.
