It was time for the surgeon and his team to move their professional rooms into new premises. This was an opportunity to create an environment that both optimises the operational requirements and reflects their ethos of professional care. Spatial calmness is a key criterion that benefits both the patients and the clinical team. Moderated daylight and a palette of soft fawns & blues clad the precise workflow planning. Surgeons have a highly demanding workday, so rooms that calm can alleviate some of the stress.
